I'm now in my early twenties (21 to be exact) and I wanted to create something that I could update regular as a sort of reminder of what I've been getting up to // who I've met // and how I feel since I never really remember any of these things.
I have other blogs, I've had a Xanga since I was 17 but the other day I had a look through some of my older posts and almost started laughing at how pathetic I used to be!
After I stopped posting on my Xanga I moved on to Livegournal, which is actually just as pathetic as my Xanga.
..Now about Me..
I go by Many names, the ones people use most are Emma and Sarah, Emma is actually my birth name, Is that what you call it?
Sarah was given to me by a friend to confuse people.. It was funny at the time, now when I go out I get a lot of people calling me Sarah which can be quite annoying, I'm sure I'll get over it though!
As I said before I'm 21 and have been for almost 6 months
Leeds (UK) is my home city and as crappy as it can be sometimes I love it, I currently live in a massive shared house, I've got 5 house mates who go by the names of; Murphy, Maria, Jonny, Chris and Tom.
We all get on very well and throw some crazy house parties, the most recent being a food fight.. Sadly I didn't join in with this one mainly because I had just got in from work and felt a tad sick!
I have many creative moments and love it when I get them.. I've made some absolutely amazing things; If I do say so myself.. I may post some, sometime.
..Speaking of work..
I work in Primark, when I tell people where I work I get very mixed reactions.. some being;
- 'Wow, I love Primark.. Can you get me discount?'
- 'Really? I hate Primark, I can't believe you work there hahaha!'
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, Primark is a clothing store that mass produces everything, so we'll get like 1000 of the same top and sell them for like 50p.
It's okay when you're off out and need a cheap emergency outfit!
It gets awfully busy because of it's cheapness and can be a stressful job.
I have met some absolutely amazing people working there, and have had moment where I've not wanted to scream or kill an ignorant person with a coat hanger!
I work on Department 1 which is also known as Accessories, It's quite hard being a girl and working with shiny jewellery all day, I could actually spend all my wage on things I know I will never wear.
I think that sums up my job to an extent and I hope I didn't make it sound too awful.
..People I Happen To Know..
Now 2008 has being one of those years where I have met a whole bunch of new people!
I can hardly go out without meeting someone new or having someone recognize me, It's also common for me to not remember a single person that comes up to me, since a majority of people I meet when I'm on a night out, which means drunk in other words.
I've become quite good at pretending to know who the hell someone is.. The only problem is when the person expects to be introduced to all your friends.
One of my favourite things someone has said to me, after they ran into me on a night out is;
'i remember in QC and earlier that day i was telling kyle that i had u on facebook and u walked in and he was like emma bakers here and i was like omg as if you were the celebrity of the night lol!' - Christian Weir
..About My Actual Friends..
I have a select group of best fiends, I think they are amazing for putting up with me!
We have the best times.
Since each one is amazing in their own way I think I'll just list their names and one thing I love about each of them;
Maria - Staying up for hours while waiting for Pizza and Ben and Jerrys to arrive are the best nights in!
John - I love it when he laughs.. It can make even the grumpiest person happy! CHICKEN!
Chris - My bestfriend, I love having our sofa time while while watching stupid things on TV 'Coming Of Age' I so would not know what I would do without him!
Michaela - It could take me a year to write how much this girl means to me, she is a star and the only person I would want to get lost and stranded with!
Abbey - Also known as Michael, I love how we could spend a whole day bitching about people and calling each other names.. the dirty breeder!
Craig - He makes me happy when we're working on a Friday night, and we have had some very fun nights out!
Will - My favourite cook!! Nuff said!
Michael Ogg - BEST DANCER EVER! He's also one sexy bitch!
I could list more of my besties but I can't be bothered any more.. and it may get boring not just for me!
..The Family..
I wont spend much time writing about my family, mainly because I don't see mine very often.
- I have one half Brother who is older than me (Tony)
- 2 regular Brothers (James and Mathew)
- 2 Sisters (Rachel and Jessica)
- one Half Sister (Charlotte)
- 2 Step Brothers (Richie and James) and one Step Sister (Rachel)
My Dad and Step Mum (Cheryl) live in Norwich with my Sister Charlotte and Step Siblings..
My real Mum (to be even more confusing is also called Cheryl) lives in Leeds but it's quite far from where I live!
That's really all I have to say about my family..
